Fall Pyro 2021 — Mike Love x3, Dixon’s Violin x2, Dirtwire x2

Written by Abram Sudan

When a community supports an event so strongly that they are able to have three of them in a year, you know you’ve got something special. That is the case with Pyro music and arts festival. Organized by Joseph Pirtz, Pyro is a safe space for people to come and recognize themselves, discover new friends, listen to heartfelt and meaningful music, explore, make art, dance, and spin fire.

Fall Pyro is this weekend (October 15th – 17th) at Brushy Fork Phamily ranch, just outside of Columbus, Ohio, and is considered by many to be beyond normal music festivals. It is a gathering of open, accepting, and creative humans on a path of bettering both themselves and their community (and the music lineup is stacked.)

Mike Love will be playing 2 sets, Dirtwire is playing 2 sets, Dixon’s Violin is playing 2 sets, Natalie Rize will be playing 2 sets, along with John Wolten and the Awakening, and many many more. Fall Pyro will also have Ohio Burn Unit, and an interactive fire installation that allows festival attendees to write out what they wish to let go of leading into the ceremonial burn on Saturday night. Knowledge, sharing, and community building are an integral part of this festival.
