What felt like the longest set break of my life came to a joyous conclusion last night right outside of Pittsburgh! It’s been a grueling 447 days since I’ve seen live music. Consider the Source made their long awaited appearance at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille in Warrendale, PA, last night. The band was previously slated for a date back in December 2020, but due to COVID-19 restrictions the show had to be rescheduled. As we’ve been conditioned over the past year to socially distance ourselves from one another, last night felt like a breath of fresh air. As regulations start to ease, people are able to lift their masks in most public situations. It was such a beautiful sight to see smiling faces all around! With the venue at a limited capacity, everyone felt comfortable and was able to enjoy a night of the middle-eastern influenced power trio that is Consider the Source.

The band has also been working on a new, untitled, hybrid electronic/acoustic album following their highly favored release, You Are Literally a Metaphor. Giving us a live taste of the new album, the trio played an unreleased single titled “This Is the Way” which was well received by all in attendance. The guys hit the road after the show for a sold-out night in Cleveland, followed by a weekend closer in Columbus. Find more upcoming tour dates here!
