It’s finally here, the announcement we’ve all been waiting so patiently for: the final lineup for the 10th annual Werkout Music & Arts Festival at Legend Valley going down August 1-3.
For the past month, the band has been releasing one artist a day, five days a week, to keep us hungry fans satisfied until the main course arrives. Werks drummer and Werkout talent-buyer Rob Chafin explained the piecemeal release strategy as an effort to give every band their moment in the sun, rather than throwing an entire lineup at fans and letting acts fall through the cracks. “We are doing the slow release because we feel like EVERY act we book are some of the best musicians in the world,” Chafin said. “And we want to showcase everyone individually to give everyone the attention they deserve!”
Well, we just got served a piping hot plate of tasty jams in the form of what is easily the most stacked, off-the-wall lineup of the summer. Featuring tons of heavy hitting acts like STS9, The Lennon-Claypool Delirium, The Floozies, Big Gigantic, and of course three nights of our gracious hosts, The Werks.
